- Baby Shower for Jesus - Tuesday, July 14 at 7:00 pm - You are cordially invited to a baby shower for Jesus benefiting the Children's Home Society of North Carolina. It will be held in the Multi-Purpose Room of the church and is sponsored by our United Methodist Women. Registry items include:  Enfamil Lipil with Iron (powdered or ready to feed infant formula), Bottles and Nipples, Disposable Diapers (any size, newborn - pullups), Boy's clothing (24 months to 4T, can be gently used) and bassinets. Let's celebrate Christmas in July! Bring a friend or neighbor!
  
- Ice Cream Social and Christian Double-Feature Movie Night - Sunday, July 12 at 6:30 pm - You're invited to join your church family and friends for a night of fun beginning with an ice cream social and then a couple of movies. The first movie will be a children's movie (title to be announced later) and then babysitting will be provided so the adults can enjoy "Firewall". Mark your calendars now for this fun event!
 
  - Wednesday Night Summer Services - July 22, 29 and August 5, 12 -Our theme for these special services will be "Inspirational Summer". You will hear from four different speakers that have overcome obstacles and adversities in their lives and come through their trials by the grace of God. Each service will begin at 7:00 pm and will be held in the church sanctuary. They will be short and casual, but very meaningful and heartwarming. We hope to see you there!
 
 
* Our Wednesday Night Hot Dog workers are taking the summer off, but we'll be back on September 2nd. Thanks for your support and we'll see you again in the fall!!!
